Does anybody know what the situation is here in the U.S. for getting Suzuki automobiles serviced? As some of you may know, I'm looking for a new car, and I found this ad for an SX4 Sportback with a 6 speed. My only concern was when something goes wrong with it, will I be able to find parts now that Suzuki NA is dead, and will I be able to find people capable of putting those parts on my car. I remember hearing something about Suzuki claiming that they will stick around to service their vehicles. Anyway, if anybody knows anything on this subject, please share it with me, I would greatly appreciate it. Here's a link to the ad, and an SX4 in action for your trouble.

You shouldn't have any problems at all, I have a 2010 6mt awd, and everything is very well built, even almost overbuilt. You will be able to find most parts any any auto part store, like brakes, shocks, oil filters... I only went to the dealer to get a bearing replaced since it was under warranty. When I got the windshield replaced, I thought I was going to have to wait a week or two to get it, but the glass shop had one in stock, even if there was never a suzuki dealer in my hometown.
You do know that the sportback is not AWD?? biggest problem with the awd drive is that it has a smaller gas tank, and is harder on gas than the sportback.
I bought mine new in 2010 and never had any problems with mine. If you don't need much trunk space the SX4 is a great little car, although a bit harder on gas than other cars it's size(honda fit/nissan versa), but you get 150HP unlike about 110Hp for the versa/fit
here is my SX4 with bigger all terrain tires on it
Even after owning it for over 4 years I still love my SX4
